The time of a loved ones death is a profoundly emotional experience and looking for a funeral celebrant is an unenviable task. You are welcome to contact me directly or through your funeral director. I’ll arrange a time to meet with you either at your home or the deceased’s home, whatever works for you.

I facilitate and guide you through the whole process, making it as stress free as possible.

I’ll listen carefully to your stories and wishes, asking questions along the way. If there is something I am not sure about, I’ll call you back, sometimes several times, in an effort to get your loved ones parting words as perfect as they can be. I will research anything I need to. My goal is to capture the ‘essence’ of who your loved one was.

I have a large resource of readings and poems which I am happy to share with you.

I will then have the honour to lead the service on the day in a warm, caring professional manner. I am committed to the service being in the tone you choose, either a Celebration of Life with lots of laughter and stories or a more solemn occasion.

I have a Certificate in Grief Counseling as well as a Certificate in Funeral Celebrancy.

I am a Member of the Celebrants Association of New Zealand so you can rest assured you are getting a professional to do the job.

Sometimes when people know the end of their life is near, they want to plan their own ceremony either by themselves or with their family. I would be very privileged to sit with you or your loved ones to put into place your/their wishes.
